Sporting Achievements 

The houses are Hickey (green) and Rush (yelow) the captains are chosen from the people in their house groups.

Sports Captains and Vice Captains for Hickey are boys: Riley Duncombe and Seth Robinson, girls: Katie Behn and Melissa Flack and Sports Captains and Vice Captains for Rush are boys: Lachlan Maxwell and Shaun Klinge and girls: Chekita Peglar and Madyson Schembri.

PSSA TENNIS

Congratulations to our PSSA Tennis Team for winning their first round game against Tregeagle Public School. They did Iluka proud, showing great sportsmanship. We wish them all the best in their round 2 game against Westlawn Public School.

 

PSSA Boys Football (Soccer)

Congratulations to our boys soccer team who had a good win. Iluka had to play Chatsworth Island Public School for Round 1. The game was played at Iluka Oval. The team made full use of the oval making great breaks which tested the defence of Chatsworth. The boys came into half time winning 3 to 1.

Iluka had to work a little harder during the second half as we were working against the breeze. Iluka scored another late goal to win 4 to 1.

What impressed the coach was the sportsmanship displayed by the team. Everyone worked hard and should be most satisfied with their efforts..

Our next game will be against Maclean Public School.
